Trip to Fraser Hill ... it has been one hell of a "bumpy" ride ...

it's been quite a hectic week ... or is it a lazy week??? ... anyway before the National Day i was wrapped up in work ... to finish what was needed before i go on a long long break ...
took leave from Monday 8-Aug-2005 and 10-Aug-2005 ... my well deserved break ... the first break i took this year ... after 8 months of slogging ...
it's been a bumpy ride right from the start ... where my bro wants to come along but he has to be back on Monday for work (when we are planned to return only on Monday) ... my elder sis has to work hence not able to join us  ... had to ask my KL frens to help me out to get a bus tix back to SG for Sunday ... unfortunately not able too ... so we decide then to drive back on Sunday midnight so that we are able to reach back in SG by the wee morning of Monday ... but then ...

my elder sis got locked out of the house ... her bag (with the house key in there) got locked in the workplace locker ... and will only be able to open on Monday ...
leaving no choice ... she got to bunk in at our relative's place ... which we are "trained" not to stay at people's house ... not even family ... so you could imagine how ackward that is for my sis ... with no extra clothing ... and $$ and all ... not only her ... she is left with her youngest baby ... lucky thing he has enough milk to survive for at least 2 days ...

and us?? ... the bungalow we checked in ... only allow 8 of us when there's 14 of us (including the kids) ... my eldest sis and family had to checkinto an apartment costing them RM$400/nite ... sigh!!
we also brought with us food to bbq ... when on the website it says there is a bbq pit ... but actual fact NO!! ... end up we have to give away our food to my aunt in Malacca ... what a waste ... lucky thing the food doesn't go bad ...

given not much choice ... we head back to SG on the afternoon of Sunday ... stopping by at my aunt's place in Malacca ... reaching SG midnight ... to pick my elder sis up ...

it sure has been a bumpy trip ... rush too ... being where we are headed ... going up the winding road to Fraser Hill ... but a consolation ... the place is cool ... serene ... tranquil ... it's worth the trip ... though we didn't really get to go ard ... but it sure is a trip worth making ...
and the nasi goreng is superb ... that's a recommendation ...
