Mine either be top stripes while the bottom in dots.  The top will b a #kurungmoden or #minikurung with boat neck.  The bottom will b 'lipat sopan' The cuff in dots too Ask to sew big pockets (just like on Opah's baju)  on the right bottom/mid  This yr made sampin for Hub; in soft purple. One tat he can easily put on without the hassle of 'lipat' and all tat.  I have 5m of moo moo print and 4m of checkered. For the moo moo, i made the kurung moden #peplum. Confirm plenty of balance cloth.  The bottom checkered is A-line.  ...

Wives and Mothers would have thought about this by you ... some even have all settled (like my eldest sis .... all tailored and ready for raya) for me ... we are about to start ... last year we tailor-made our baju kurung for both myself and hubby. we send hubby's baju kurung to Cik Hamid/Cik Hawa at Pandan. While i sent mine to Fidah's mum @Tampines. we bought cotton for last year thru' my SIL Fidah. this year, i go ahead to get the material on my own ... dealing with the seller, making payment via Western Union at Singpost to waiting for my purchase. i bought from 2 separate sellers. intend to make dresses or blouses from some of the materials, maybe 2-3 sets of baju kurung for myself and 1 set for hubby with sampin this year.
