we travelled a distance away from our office for our CNY Lunch on 25Feb2015 to Katong Kitchen. https://www.facebook.com/KatongKitchen http://www.stayfareast.com/en/hotels/village-hotel-katong/dining.aspx It's halal ... and the food ... sedappppppp the dessert ... fantastic ... the laksa ... out of this world!! our loh hei mess.    me with chee meng (logistics) me with linda (hr) was to engross in my food ... didn't snapped away.  was too hungry too cos we waited quite a long  while for some others to arrive The dessert that i tried and tested.  the chocolate round nut thing at that corner is superb ..  and the tiramisu (opps i forgot the flavor) but definitely not your usual tiramisu. awesome to the max!

1st it's nt halal. Well being the only malay in the office, i won't trouble my coligs to go with halal eatery. I'm nt a big eater anyway. So gg to places like tis, well i can limit to desserts n seafood can't i?  This is me taken in our office lift upon arriving in office this morning. Wearing my #elfira top by #naiema. Super comfy and love the flare bottom. (It hides my big butt and big tummy) hahahaha

it's been a long while since i last join them for dinner. ya lah ... being the only malay in the office, dun want to stress them out or inconvenient them to go for halal food and all ... knowing that halal restaurants aren't many around especially not our culture to be spending hundreds of $$ for a meal ... so i decide to join them last night since hubby is going to be home late from work. it's nice to be there. Thanks to all for your concern about the food that i'm taking and wanting to have me around. the staff of the restaurant (Peach Garden Cantonese Restaurant @Metropolis) are very particular too to make sure i get the right food. *Feeling Blessed.

it's teambuilding event for our company and they decide to go for bowling at Chevron's ... we team up with the VDL boys ... whom we didn't even met and talk ... but we turn out ok. Overall score for the lanes ... we made it 4th. But overall score for the whole company taking the average where some teams have 4 players and like us we have 5 players ... no idea where we stand. ok ... i wish i could be a tai tai ... duhhhhh!!! fat chance ... looking back at my entry ... where i started as temp in sep 06. http://jusmoi.blogspot.sg/2006/09/i-all-geared.html _... then i question myself if i will still be in this job ... that's in jan 07. http://jusmoi.blogspot.sg/2007/01/ade-chance-tak.html _... well ... here's the story ... my contract was indeed renewed ... but in mar 07, i was terminated - reason being they do not need temp staff anymore. so i have to leave immediately ... it was the worst day of my life. can you imagine coming to work ... happy ... happy then suddenly you were called into the office and ask to leave ... it's like the whole building falls onto you ... but in may ... Mike called me and offer me a permanent job as grid rebuild coordinator. and since i don't have a job ... without hesitation i accept. over the years ... things change ... pple left ... i slowly took up service admin tasks ... on top of the various reports ...

yippppeee!!!! i've got a new lappie ... but of course not mine la ... but at least i got something new ... hehehe ... DELL LATITUDE E4300 black and sleek ... the keyboard so soft ... the processor so fast ... ahhhh ... it such a heaven using it ... butttttttt ... the keyboard matte ... if your fingers are like oily2 gitu ... it leaves fingerprints all over ... hahahah ... i'm going to doll this guy up ... get the essentials like keyboard skin ... hehehe ... screen ... no need la ... outer ... hmm no need maybe ... hehehe ...

she's veronica ... we called her Icay, at times Veron, occassionally Ron and other time in full Veronica and her nick is Cameron (as in Cameron Diaz, one of Charlie Angels). i am her mentor and her guide thru' out her 1 week stay here ... i bet she's enjoying every moment of it just like i have ... thank you for the great time, Icay. Bet i tire you down ... best time of all is the food tasting @Taka ... *giggles* "Paalam sa iyo kaibigan! Mami-miss kita!"
