Just to collate my pics of homecook meals over the past months/weeks. Nasi Ayam goreng ni je ... sedapppp but very little pieces in a pack.  Chicken soup for nasi ayam On a separate occasion ... we had lasagna made from bread. Done by my housemate, Erra.  lasagna baked leftovers pesto pasta re-cooked with  campbell mushroom soup .. yummy. look how how the lasagna turns out ...  taste like my shepherd pie ... hehehehe

Much talk about in town ... Hajjah Mariam Cafe. Just got to try it for ourselves. Me and sis after Rhydel's registration at ITE West College, decide to drop by at Westgate for lunch. We had the much talk-about nasi ambeng serve in dulang - eat for 2. Verdict: very small space. very cramp. food is nice. delicious. Acah pedas. Ayam masak lemak, sambal goreng, serunding, begedil semua power to max! serving was generous. Cost = food = best! It cost us $25 with Nasi lemak for Rhydel + 3 drinks (2 sirap limau and 1 bandung) I guess it sums to be about 7-8 per person for this nasi ambeng ... which is reasonable for the servings that they give + the food that is nice. Muhlach is the family name of the owner, Alexander Muhlach who is the father of Nino Muhlach a popular actor in PHP. Ube is purple yam ... and Ensaymada is a tagalog word which means that it is made with butter and topped with grated cheese It's not as cheesy as one will tink ... but the cheese rasa ... it jus melts away ... then the pastry is so soft ... superb texture ... it suited the name perfectly ... and it has this Halal stamp on the box ... how halal is halal ... hmmm i'm not one who will guarantee ... 24Jul : got a confirmation from my fren tat this is indeed halal ... so rest assure. whoever had the chance to try this ... go try!! it's all worthwhile ... *winks* Check out the website:  https://www.facebook.com/pages/MEGAMELT-MUHLACH-ENSAYMADA/155232844700
