Sunday in Manhattan

Good Morning! A great day to start with a smile and light breakfast. Ready to jln2 and shop2.

Sunday 14th Oct 2012, is our 2nd day in US. it's jln2 day ... shop2 day. the only day we have to go around. we won't know if we have any other day to go downtown/uptown.

bob is very nice. he drove us around.
we didn't get off the car at all cos we can't get a parking space. and we won't want to waste our time getting down just to take pictures and then wait for bob to pick us up again. we might as well drove around, get as much as we can and head to outlets to shop2.

new york city or NYC as we know is actually Manhattan. they don't really call NYC here. they called it Manhattan. so when they say New York, they meant Manhattan. Here in woodbury/plainview is also part of New York state. in US, you have city and state. woodbury/plainview where we are at it's huge. public transport are a rare sight but they are available. you don't see cabs here unless you call for one. and you have to drive around to get from 1 place to another. anyway it's crazy to be walking in the cold. u must be crazy to do that no matter how much clothes you put on ... u won't want to walk around. it's really not very accessible here. but if you are in Manhattan, getting on the public transportation is ideal. driving is just a no-no. we say a garage or a building indoor parking and it charge like usd37 per hour. crazy isn't it!

the pass that brings it out of the toll.

Manhattan here we come.

going thru the toll.

this is definitely chinatown area.
many chinese stalls with chinese characters.
and you see more chinese people walking around here too.

Building at 104 storey, supertall skyscraper

Staten Island Ferry.

The Charging Bull
@Wall Street, the financial district in Manhattan.
too many people surrounded it ...

the tourist hop on hop off bus.

The Memorial Gallery.
We didn't stop by to see it.

This is where it's shot.
American Museum of Natural History

the last thing we NEED and HAVE to do is ...
Time Square ...
A MUST-DO when you are in Manhattan
Don't ever leave home without it.

As Bob said, these are all Veeco's doing ... hehehe
